Well, just purely virtual: what exactly is on the globe on the other side? Cologne (and winning) is so about 1000km east of Christchurch. Hey, is not that far away! Well, the other side of Raglan is located here:
Somewhere between Cordoba and Seville, in the hinterland of Andalusia. Not at sea, but the pace of life probably not unlike. What is there called "Siesta" is what we call "Gone for a surf" ... It's not that far away! :-)
